Why wait for vacation every year when your own homing place has everything you need for a gentle respite? This is a soulscape we created in our side yard. It was a desolate space when we moved there.  It felt unloved, untended, left for ruin.  While listening to our own soul-desires for gentle refreshment and rest, and learning from the whispering lessons of creation, we were able to create an Edenic oasis featuring evergreen groves, a gorgeous pondless waterfall and stream, and a gracious contoured deck to relax and listen to birdsong and breeze. All the pollinators came, as well as the avian kin, and many happy human visitors. By the light of day, or with solar lights dancing among the trees and shimmering up through the stream at night, this was a place where everyone wanted to come and gather because creation's symphony was celebrated with gratitude and joy.  Our huskies loved running through the stream and playing with the many creature-kin who called this place home.  It just took a little imagination, and lots of love.  What facets of creation call to you?
